The In-Memory Reservation Architecture

• Redis Atomic Decrements (DECRBY): Initialize available inventory stock in Redis. When a customer clicks checkout, execute atomic decrement in Redis in 0.2ms. If the counter falls below zero, immediately reject the order without touching the MySQL database.
• Asynchronous Order Spooling: Approved reservations are pushed to high-throughput Redis queues (SQS or RabbitMQ), where background worker daemons write the persistent MySQL order records at a controlled pace.
